I think the only movie I am looking forward to seeing this year is Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens. Unfortunately that movie doesn't come out till the end of the year, and I have been purposely not trying to follow to closely the plot details or character descriptions because I really want to be surprised as to what JJ Abrams delivered on screen. I already have low expectations because the self hype I felt when the Prequels came out was diminished greatly by the final production. Still this new film has sparked the creative fire for my favorite Star Wars film: The Empire Strikes Back.

Unbreakable the movie
I haven't posted in a while....
Here's an alternative movie poster for M. Night Shyamalan's masterpiece "Unbreakable". I created to get the creative juices flowing again.
To me this movie is an underrated classic. It elevated the Superhero movie genre and was a direct reason for the development of the TV series "Heroes" (IMHO). Sam. L Jackson had some of the best lines and acting in this movie. His character summed up my feeling about the importance of Comic Book drawings: "This is a piece of art!". M. Night was still on his game with pacing, cinematography, dialogue, and plot.

The Black Panther
This is my latest piece of art of the Marvel Comic character THE BLACK PANTHER. I hope he gets his own movie, or at least an appearance in the latest Avengers movie: Age of Ultron!

May the Fourth be with you!
The new cast listing for Star Wars Episode VII came out and I'm excited for the new movie, but J.J.
WHERE IS LANDO CALRISSIAN!!!
We get to see what's happening with Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, R2, C-3PO, but we can't catch up with the man who helped blow up the second DEATH STAR! Did I mention that the Death Star was operational?
Sure the man was a scoundrel in his past days, I mean, what good Star Wars character wasn't? (*Cough*, Han Solo) He has since mended his ways and fought bravely for the Alliance on multiple occasions. Movie gods, let this man live and help the Star Wars Universe once more.
On another note. I'm glad to to see John Boyega kick some more alien butt. If you didn't know he was the chap from:
Cheers!
